The collaboration between the Consorcio de Servicios Universitarios de Cataluña (CSUC) and the Consorcio Madroño has progressed in recent years toward a model of technical cooperation that goes beyond regional boundaries and establishes the basis for a national network of research data repositories based on Dataverse. This alliance is driven from shared objectives: improving the training of research support staff in the practical application of the FAIR principles, ensuring geographically distributed preservation of data, and advancing the development of automated services that optimize the documentation and assessment of datasets.
This presentation summarizes the main collaboration lines, their impact on repositories, and how the joint initiatives have improved workflows, preservation, and data quality.
